Now for a little information about my soap. I make all my soap using the cold process method. Which basically means, I do not "cook" the soap after mixing the lye water with the oils. I use good quality oils along with lard in my soap. I also make a castille soap using 85% olive oil, then I use small amounts of other oils to help boost the lather. I make all my soap in small batches, as I am a one woman show, and I am not set up to do large batches. I cure every batch for 4-6 weeks, before I sell them. I also test the pH levels in every batch to be sure it is a mild soap. A harsh batch of soap will never leave my premises! I hand cut every bar, I do not use detailed molds, as I prefer the hand cut method. I make goat milk soap as well as coconut milk soap. I also make a oatmeal, milk and honey soap which is SO soothing! I have many people that have used my soaps, and everyone tells me that their skin is SO much softer and feels better after using it.
Homemade soap is much better for your skin, as it still has all the natural glycerin in it, to help pull moisture to your skin.
I also do all my own packaging. I hand wrap each and every bar!!
Thank you for taking the time to read more about my soap making business. I will keep updates coming to let you know when I am selling online. Until then, if you are in the Warrensburg are, stop by Willow's Bistro, or watch for the craft sales and the world's largest garage sale!! You can also e-mail me, and I would be happy to take an order that way also!!
Thanks again!!
