Hello... Let me introduce myself...

First of all, thank you for stopping by my website for a visit!!
|
|
|
|
My name is Sally. I was born and raised here in the Adirondack Mountains. Both of my parents were also born and raised here. I grew up in a small
town called, Speculator. It was like living in Mayberry, you always felt safe and you knew everyone that lived there. It wasn't until I got older, that I
really started to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounded me. I took it for granted, not understanding all the history that took place in that
small town. It wasn't until I met my husband, who is not from the Adirondacks, that I really started to look at this area with a whole new
understanding. He loved it so much up here and growing up, he used to come up with his family, and dream about one day living here. He still tells
me how lucky I was to be able to grow up here, and I was.
I now live in another small town in the Adirondacks, called Thurman. My husband and I have a small home on a nice piece of land. We have our
dog Nikki, who is our baby. We love to take rides and take pictures. The best part of it is we will see a road, not know where it goes, and just take
it. We usually will see animals or spot some flowers that we have never seen. So I snap off pictures, which I then post here for everyone to enjoy.
I also make old fashioned homemade soap and candles. I love making things myself, as much as I can. I love spending time with my family.
Besides my husband, my Mom is my best friend. I also have been lucky to find some new friends that are so special. They are real down to earth
people, that don't want anything but to be friends and help others. They give more than they will take.
God has blessed me that is for sure.

be something new here to see. I am in the process of starting my business, selling my soap. It is starting off very well, so that will be taking a lot of
my time, but I carry my camera with me everywhere I go, there is always time for a photo!!
